Sheila O founded ZONS P.R UK Ltd, a company focusing on PR, Marketing, Media Advertising and Events Management.
The following year, she founded the international artist booking agency, ZONS TOURS, which opened a niche in Africa where international A-list artists are taken to tour the continent. Some of theses guest included Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Nas, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Ludacris, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Wyclef Jean, Akon, Joe, Usher, Sean Paul, 50 Cent, Nicki Minaj, Dionne Warwick, Migos, Megan thee Stallion and many more.
The success of these bookings also led to Zons sponsoring the first ever Best African Act category for the MOBO Awards. MOBO was the first to host this category before all other main stream Award shows world-wide.
Recently, Sheila O made history as the first international female personality to create and host an Afrobeat radio show in the United States on major FM platforms across the country. AfroZons is a ‘groundbreaking’ two-hour weekly radio show that fuses today’s hip hop with Afrobeats’ and highlights the latest in global urban trends. AfroZons is now a nationally syndicated show here in the United States.
In 2020, Sheila then launched her TV Show , How Far w/ Sheila O. Starting at the beginning of the Covid- 19 pandemic, The TV Series Discusses the latest news, gossip, trending topics plus interviews with music geniuses, influencers and forward thinkers pioneering change and growth in the industry and world wide via online video calls. Now the series has transformed to a television show for HIPTV , a DSTV satellite station airing in 44+ countries worldwide.
In 2021, Sheila O was selected to become a voting member of the Recording Academy popularly known as the GRAMMYs.
